Yes, we have to be persevering. We must have faith. We must be righteous. We must be holy. But they are like the cart after the horse. All these are precursors to answered prayer. But they are not the key to opening the answer to prayers.

In Australia, a pastor’s wife endured relentless breast pain. Doctors found nothing. Scans were clear. Intercessors and prayer warriors joined in the battle. Rebuking the devil and the illness did not work. Their persistent prayers were unanswered. Months and years crawled by.
Her husband (a senior apostolic pastor, met through Pastor Felix, a Southern Baptist), visiting the Philippines, confided their struggle.

Then—the Lord revealed to me she is a prophetess: Her pain wasn’t physical. It was a sign. A symbol of broken intimacy between husbands and wives across Australia.

A daughter baffled by a mystery: still breathing on life support at home, her comatose mom has been bedridden for 7 years. She was prayed for relentlessly. But there was no sign of improvement or sign of passing away.

The Lord gave me the prophetic message:
“Gather around her the whole family, your siblings and their families, their husbands, wives, children, and in-laws, asking for and releasing forgiveness, moving in the spirit of love and gratitude, and letting her go to be with the Lord. Then peacefully and blissfully, her soul will leave her body.”
They obeyed. She died peacefully in the joy of the Lord.

Our greatest crossroads? Not evil’s lure, but selecting the sacred path among many noble ones. My son aspired to be a doctor. He sought God’s will and heard Him.
While prepping for the college of medicine entrance test, he weighed medical giants (UP, UST, Ateneo, FEU, UE). I challenged him: ‘Why scatter your peace? Present the options to heaven—then OBEY.’
God answered his prayer swiftly: ‘UP.’ I affirmed, ‘Then plant your flag there.’
When he wavered over review methods if he had to join a review class, I urged, ‘Reopen the divine channel.’ God’s revelation? Stark: ‘ Review alone.’
The harvest? A UP medical doctorate—forged not by human striving, but by surrendered listening, getting the revelation. God’s voice: the only compass that never fails.
